This CPD activity is based on an open-label, multicentre clinical study evaluating the effectiveness and tolerability of a non-hormonal treatment option in women experiencing peri-menopausal and menopausal symptoms.

Over a 90-day period, outcomes including hot flushes, sleep quality, fatigue, irritability, and overall quality of life were assessed in routine clinical practice.

The activity supports healthcare professionals in understanding real-world evidence for non-hormonal symptom management, patient-reported outcomes, and treatment acceptability, particularly in women for whom menopausal hormone therapy may not be appropriate.

Learning Outcomes:

  1. Describe the clinical rationale for considering non-hormonal treatment options in the management of peri-menopausal and menopausal symptoms.
  2. Interpret patient-reported outcomes related to vasomotor symptoms, sleep quality, fatigue, irritability, and quality of life in a real-world clinical study.
  3. Evaluate the tolerability and acceptability of non-hormonal interventions as factors influencing adherence and clinical decision-making in women’s health.

The CPD questions are based on insights from the presentation you attended, as well as a referenced journal article provided for additional reading. To complete the CPD activity, please answer the multiple-choice questions; each with only one correct answer. You have a maximum of three attempts. Successful completion will earn you 3 clinical CEUs.
